Celebrating the 250^th anniversary of one of the most influential composers, artists, and visionaries who ever lived, the Cheng² Duo presents a complete cycle of Ludwig van Beethoven’s five sonatas for piano and cello. Experience the genius of this composer through not only his artistic output, from Op. 5 to 102, but also his mental and physical evolution, from youth to maturity, hearing to deafness, reality to fantasy.

From summer 2020, the duo will also feature new commissions inspired by the sonatas, written by renowned international composers Samy Moussa, Paul Wiancko, and Dinuk Wijeratne — the Beethovens of our time.
