Nicolas Ellis in Austria !
After a busy summer as assistant conductor to Raphaël Pichon of the Ensemble Pygmalion at the Aix-en-Provence Festival and as guest conductor at major classical festivals in Quebec and Canada, Nicolas Ellis has served as musical assistant to Maestro Rolland Kluttig at the Graz Opera in Austria. Nicolas now has the honour of conducting Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem in its grand premiere on September 24 (until November 20, 2022).
An Amazing Year for Bryan Cheng!
Following recent prize-winning awards at some of the world’s most prestigious international competitions including Queen Elisabeth, Concours de Genève and UNISA Competition, the 25-year old Canadian cellist Bryan Cheng received the Verbier Festival Academy’s Prix Yves Paternot 2022 in recognition of the most accomplished and promising musician of the annual Academy for young professional musicians.
