Virtuoso pianist Charles Richard-Hamelin, one of the most acclaimed artists of his generation, is proud to announce the release of his new album ÉCHOS, available this Friday, February 14 on the Analekta (Outhere Music) label.
Charles Richard-Hamelin continues his exploration of the works of Frédéric Chopin in this poetic, elegant recording that also features rare and refined pieces by Spanish composers Isaac Albéniz and Enrique Granados.
ÉCHOS is a striking melding of Chopin’s emotional depth and the melodic power of the Spanish repertoire. The works featured on the album interweave poetry and dance through familiar and lesser-known melodies.
Remi Bolduc: On tour in BC in the next few weeks!
With over 40 years of experience in the industry, Montreal’s jazz musician/educator Rémi Bolduc is unarguable one of Canada’s best saxophonists, having released 11 jazz albums that feature collaborations with notable musicians such as Kenny Werner, Marc Johnson, Ben Monder, and Jerry Bergonzi. Bolduc’s musical talent and expertise have earned him a dedicated following, with audiences captivated by his dazzling virtuosity and mature musical style.
After having released their 2017 album Swingin’ With Oscar to critical acclaim, the Rémi Bolduc Jazz Quartet will celebrate iconic jazz pianist Oscar Peterson’s 100th birthday in 2025! On tour in BC with this program from February 19 to 23. Paying tribute to this legendary musician will be Taurey Butler piano, Dave Laing drums, and Ira Coleman bass.
Annick-Patricia Carrière receives the Uriel Luft Award!

The Uriel Luft Award honors an individual who has significantly contributed to promoting the performing arts abroad.
