First Canadian Tour for Social Tango Project!
First presented in some of the most prestigious venues in Buenos Aires (Centro Cultural Borges and Centro Cultural 25 de Mayo), the unique and fascinating dance company Social Tango Project from Argentina has finished its first tour in Canada in April 2023. A real success! Created 10 years ago, the company invites tango fans to experience a real evening to the beat of this popular dance so closely linked to Argentina, in the intimacy of a milonga recreated here by multidisciplinary choreographer Agustina Videla from Buenos Aires.

Renowned Canadian pianist Janina Fialkowska is back this winter with Chopin Recital 4 (ATMA Classique), a project that began in 2009 inspired by Janina’s desire to create four recitals around Chopin’s Ballades and Scherzos.
Concert pianist Janina Fialkowska has enchanted audiences and critics around the world. She has been praised for her musical integrity, her refreshing natural approach and her unique piano sound thus becoming “one of the Grandes Dames of piano playing” (Frankfurter Allgemeine).
